Hunting for dinosaur tracks and petroglyphs in the evening
Early this morning, as my older brother’s bike skills are not sufficient for what he wants to do, (yesterday was proof enough) he and my dad went to a bike shop to rent a bike so he can look better. They leave but my dad is planning on coming back by himself with my brother biking back by himself from the trail later on. My dad takes a lot longer to come back to the motel than he should and we suddenly realize that my brother’s time biking at Whistler has not helped him at all. When my brother finally reappears we are depressed; we were hoping he wouldn’t be coming back for a longer time, if not at all. Then the three oldest sons of the

family and my mom go for a final bike ride to see some dinosaur tracks. Yeah right. All we see are bike tracks. It ends up with my older brother insisting on a different path and getting his way, on a path deserted of dinosaur tracks. Later, my youngest brother and my Dad inform us that they saw over 50 dinosaur tracks on the trail we were supposed to go on. Since we weren’t given the pleasure of seeing any historical items we go drive on a road below the cliff. The cliff has rock climbers climbing up it and petroglyphs. We continue on and we get to see one total pair of dinosaur tracks. Totally makes up for not seeing the fifty dinosaur tracks in the other place.
